...keep checking the tracking numbers of their oders in anticipation of when it might arrive? I find myself constantly checking with UPS and FedEx looking forward to when my packages of wood and other stuff will arrive. I always feel like a little kid at Christmas waiting...Oh well, back to the UPS site.

Joe,
Is it like those little “butterflies in your stomach” kind of feeling that sometimes gives you a giddy dizziness in your head?
I have no idea what you are talking about.

You think your anticipation is bad. I just watched a package arrive Chicago on the 26th of last month and never make it to Texas. After several phone calles They have admitted that they lost the package. So my advise is to always keep an eye on your shipments.

This is good advice. We've been having trouble with people delivering letters and packages for another address (same number, one street over) to our house. USPS, UPS, and Fed Ex have all made the same mistake.

When I was checking the UPS package tracking site a while ago, I saw a status saying they needed to find out the apartment number. I knew right away what had happpened--they'd tried to deliver my package to the right number on the wrong street. A phone call took care of it, but it added three days to the delivery time.

Totally, I have (supposed to have) a shipment scheduled for delivery today and I decided to work from home. Believe it!

OK Joe,
Now you can add a layer of justified paranoia to the list of feelings with anticipation and anxiety.

Just kidding guys,

I usually track packages from UPS just to make sure they're arriving when they are supposed to. I've found that tracking packages I've sent from the tonewoods business is a good thing too. That way I get a feel for how long things will actually take vs the theoretical time.

Ok, and I track stuff I'm expecting because I'm still like a little kid when it comes to getting something in the mail...

My daughter learned tracking at a wilderness awareness school, or is that different? I do it with just about anything with a tracking number, except maybe vitamins.
